| I'm not familiar with oranged striped black grasshoppers so I'm not sure what to recommend. Grasshoppers can be killed with a chemical, but it is only effective on the grasshoppers in your yard - others can arrive from other parts of your neighborhood. Before doing anything, though, why not collect a few of these grasshoppers, place them into a plastic bag and take them to your local cooperative extension office or well staffed nursery for identification? Once you know what you are dealing with you can make educated decisions on how to control them. |
