Laying a new patio paver? - Knowledgebase Question

How do i determine how deep to dig, and from there how many inches of sand and stone I will need,This area will only be used for recreational purposes, such as sitting and eating, No cars will be on this patio, PLEASE HELP!

You'll want the pavers to be at the same level as your lawn or any adjacent driveway, concrete slab, etc. Measure the thickness of the paver and add two inches (for the sand base). Dig out the area and spread your sand and then work the pavers into the right depth by pushing them back and forth. You may have to remove or add some sand to get each paver to set even or level with the next one and with the adjacent lawn or hardscape. Hope this helps!
