Hello, This Is Amy Taylor, I am planning on starting my own flower garden, And I was wondering if I bought some vegetables and planted them with the flowers, would it effect the growing of the flowers? I am new to the whole gardening thing, Do i need to have a whole separate garden for my veggies? Thanks so much! Love, Amy Taylor

There is no reason why you cannot plant vegetables in with your flowers. Neither type plant will affect the other. In fact, I often plant tomatoes and lettuces in with my flowers. That way I can snack on tomatoes and lettuce while I'm working in the garden. Best wishes with your garden!
