Your seeds should sprout in a week or two. Keep the soil moist but not soggy wet because you don't want the seeds to dry out while they are trying to sprout. Aside from water and sunshine, your carnations won't need much care. You can feed them after they have developed 3-4 sets of leaves. At that time, use a half-strength dilution of water soluable fertilizer such as Miracle Gro. Feed every 3-4 weeks and your plants should grow and flower. Best wishes with your carnations!
