Ihave 2 urns at my front door it faces east what can I plant in them that will take the sun and heat.I need some hight the house is 2story. Thanks for your time and help

Two plants that come most readily to mind are 'sky pencil' holly (Ilex crenata), or Skyrocket Juniper. Both grow upright and both are narrow shrubs, suitable for framing the side of a house or garage. Hope one of these is just right for your garden!
