English Ivy (Hedera helix) is said by some to be deer resistant, and I haven't heard of them eating Creeping Charlie (though it can become an invasive weed). There are many varieties of English Ivy to choose from. In my experience, deer will eat most any plant if they're hungry enough. You can discourage them by laying chicken wire on the ground before you plant the ivy - they apparently dislike the trapped feeling it gives when their hooves get caught in it. Hope this helps!
