| Most vegetables will adapt to growing in containers so the only caution is to check them daily to make sure the soil doesn't dry out too much. It's amazing just how quickly soil in containers can dry out! It is best to plant your vegetables in March or April and again in September or October. This will allow the plants sufficient time to mature before hot weather settles in. Right now you can plant beans, peas, lettuce, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers and tomatoes.
