I bought an umbrella plant gold capella schefflera arboricola, plant code THDA8502 thinking it was a house plant. Can I plant it in a pot and keep indoors? If so, what type of light would be best? If not, what do you suggest for outdoors? Again, I would prefer to pot it, but could plant it on the east side of the house with lots of shade... Thanks!!!!!

Schefflera arboricola is hardy to about 25F degrees so you can take it outdoors in the spring and summer and then take it inside during the fall and winter months. It will adapt to growing in a container which will make it easier to move indoors and out as the weather dictates. Enjoy!
