I live in MN and recently planted some tomato seeds. I put them in the jiffy starter kit in a dark, warm room. When they sprouted, I took the covers off and turned on my grow light. Within 2 days, they are up to 4 inches tall with 2 little leaves. Where did I go wrong?

They sound as though they are reaching for the light. It's best to keep grow lights only 2" above the tops of the plants. It might be that you will be able to slow their growth so they can become more stout and sturdy by keeping the light source only 2" from the plants and keeping the light on for 14-16 hours a day. Hope this helps!
