| Mosaic virus is caused by a variety of viruses which attack all members of the curcurbit family (cucumbers, gourds, muskmelons, winter squash, summer squash, watermelons and pumpkins) as well as tomatoes, beans, and other vegetables but does not affect pittosporum. A number of fungal and bacterial diseases can cause problems with pittosporum but before we can suggest treatment or control, we'll need a positive identification of the problem. Why not take a sample of the affected leaves to your local cooperative extension office for identification? |
