| My house faces south, with my back yard in the north of my house. I have a 2 story home to the east and a 1 story home to the west. Where would a small 4x8 vegetable garden grow best? (i.e. tomatoes, onions, potatoes and herbs) |
| A vegetable garden will need a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunshine a day - more if possible. Considering the lay of the land, perhaps you can integrate some vegetable crops within your flower beds in the front of the house? Lots of veggies look attractive and the fruits will be a bonus in your garden. Good luck with your vegetables! |
