I would like to plant a palm tree or two by the pool, for a tropical look. however, I haven't seen the kind I like in any home depot or nursery. it's the kind that has fern like leaves, and barely shows a trunk. is it suitable for TX and if so , where can I get one? is there any other palm tree that is recommended? thanks, tami |
I wonder if you are describing the Sago Palm. It is actually Cycas but the common name is Sago. They grow well in your region so I think your local garden center will be getting some in for spring. Or, phone the local garden department manager and ask - now that you know the name of the plant. Best wishes in your search! |
