The Q&A Archives: planting

Question: i chose 4 veg plants, cukes, tomatoes, peppers and summer squash. i started from seeds a few weeks back. when i plant them i needed to know how far apart to plant each and how deep as i am putting in a raised garden. thx for help.

Answer: Give your tomato plants at least 3' of space (2' of growth and 1' for good air circulation) and your peppers need 12-18" between plants. Cucumbers and summer squash need room to sprawl so plan on about 4' of growing/sprawling space for each. Best wishes with your garden!
