We have three large mature sago palms. we asked and received an answer yesterday on how to treat the scales. Recommendation was to spray a highly refined horticultural oil spray, however we were not given the name of the oil spray, and where we could purchased it. We Live in the Jacksonvill FL area. For more information on our original question refer to our Monday March 30 email.

Horticultural oil is sometimes called summer oil or summer spray (Sunspray, Scalecide, Volck) but your store might carry different brands. Look for dormant oil spray in the fruit tree section and find the one that is safe to use on plants with foliage. Good luck with your sago palms.
