| I have chickweed sprouting everywhere along with some other weeds, I am in zone 6, do I put pre-emergence weed killer down now? What kind? What is the time frame on seeding the lawn & weed killers? Can I use a weed & feed Product? Thanks |
| If you already see weeds sprouting, it's too late for a pre emergent. Pre emergents stop weed seeds from germinating but they have no effect on weeds that have already started to grow. If you use a weed and feed product, the average wait time is 2-3 weeks before seeding. There will be specific recommendations on the product label so be sure to follow the directions.
