The Q&A Archives: Moss patch in my lawn

Question: I live in the Chicagoland area. For the last 2 years, I've been "attacking" a patch of light green, easily removable grass in my lawn. I've diagnosed it as beeing moss, so I've bee putting fungicidal/moss remover in this patch. It turns dark black, I place top soil and re-seed but to my dissapointment it returns. Please help!
