Is there anything close to the look and growing habits of the Indian Hawthorn to grow in Zone 6. I have a customer that is asking for them and maybe she has saw something similer and i can guide her that way. |
Toba Hawthorn (Crataegus x mordenensis 'Toba') and Winter King Hawthorn (Crataegus viridis 'Winter King') will grow in zone 6. Toba has pink/red flowers; Winter king has white flowers. Other choices are Crape myrtle, red buckeye, and crabapple trees. They are all spring bloomers and might make good substitutes. |
