I need to know just about everything when it comes to gardening, but first thing is first. Where do I begin? |
Anytime I am going after something new the first thing I do is jump into a good book on the subject, and this is always what I recommend to folks starting out in gardening. I even have a few favorites to recommend to you. First of all, I like the "Dummies" series. This includes "Gardening for Dummies", "Perennials for Dummies", "Roses for Dummies", etc. I refer to them A LOT!! A wealth of info to be had there. Ask for them at your local bookstore. Another good gardening tome is "The Garden Primer" by Barbara Damrosch. My copy is worn and muddy from so much use! Also, don't forget about this website and www.garden.org (National Gardening Association) we are here to answer your questions. Please don't ever hesitate to visit the Burpee website or the NGA site and post as many questions as you like. Good Luck! |
