I have a young navel orange tree i got from you, it flowers forms orange buds, then a few days later these orange buds drop from the tree. it almost looks like they were cut off, can you help? thank you |
Citrus trees always produce more flowers than they can possibly develop into fruit so the flower drop is normal, especially on young trees. You might also find that it will drop immature fruit, and this, too is normal. It is usually because a young plant is just not ready to set and mature a full crop load. Give your tree a few years to mature and it will set and mature lots of oranges for you. |
