Last year, I planted 2 hostas in an area that gets afternoon sun. In the fall, I noticed the leaves were turning brown. The leaves have fallen off since winter. Will my hostas grow back this spring or are they dead? |
Most hostas prefer to grow in shady conditions so I think yours is getting too much sunshine. They do naturally lose their leaves in the winter months and produce new ones in the spring so I expect yours will leaf out later this month. You might consider moving it to a shadier spot in your garden so the leaves don't burn this summer. Good luck with your hostas! |
