Wilting Zucchini Plants - Knowledgebase Question

The last 3 years my plants have been rich and green the wilt and die with no fruit. I have checked and there are no grubs or worms in the plants. Advice please. everything else grows great!!

If you are sure insects are not to blame, I would suspect a bacterial wilt. If this happens again, cut the wilted stem and touch the tip of your knife to the sap. If it is milky and sticky, your plant is infected. Destroy infected plants immediately. Bacterial wilt, mildews and most viruses can be controlled or prevented with good cultural practices. Be sure to plant your zucchini plants in a different area of the garden each year; Inspect plants often and control insect pests that can spread diseases; Keep the garden clean and free of weeds and debris.
