Sealing Wood For Raised Vegetable Garden - Knowledgebase Question

Im building a raised bed for my veg. garden and I need a natural/safe sealant for the wood. Pressure treated was not reccomended. What should I use?

If you use cedar or redwood lumber, no sealant is necessary. If you use softer wood and want to weatherproof it, Linseed oil (made from flax seeds) is the safest to use near a vegetable garden.
