| Termites seem not to like cedar mulch so if you have a choice, use cedar. Just to make sure, rake the mulch away from the foundation every few weeks to check for insect colonies. Mulch against concrete foundations isn't as worrysome, but I'd still recommend raking it back every few weeks to check for insect populations. |
