The Q&A Archives: lavender

Question: should i cut back lavender each spring?

Answer: Lavender should be trimmed back after it blooms and may be trimmed back lightly in the late spring after the new growth has appeared. Do not trim it back in the fall or early spring, and never trim it back hard into the old woody sections. Enjoy your garden!
