I have recently (4-1) came upon a gardeners dream gift: 4 cases of tulip, hyacinth etc. If I plant any of them now will I have any chance of them returning next spring? |
Definitely plant them now - they won't survive through the summer if they are not in the ground. Bulbs spend several months developing roots before they can sprout leaves and flowers. With any luck your newly planted bulbs will develop roots and foliage this summer to help restore their stored energy - and then they will bloom next spring. Let's hope for the best! |
