The Q&A Archives: yellow leaves on citrus tree

Question: what can i do about the yellow leaves on my citrus trees. i just fertilized them last week and they are still yellow. does it take awhile for the fertizer to work?

Answer: It will take a couple of weeks for the fertilizer to help the leaves green up so don't dispair. Citrus trees tend to drop leaves at this time of year and they yellow before they drop. As long as your tree is putting out new growth, it's fine, it just needed feeding. Good luck with your tree.
