Question: how do you spread out the roots in a rosebush?

Answer: Start by soaking the roots in a bucket of water so they are pliable and then just allow them to drape down in a natural fashion. Sometimes you can untangle them with your fingers after they have been soaked. Don't force them, though, just gently move them so they are not all tangled up. Hope this helps!
