| If you use shop lights, the kinds with two fluorescent bulbs that are hooded and have chains attached, you only need two of them. They are 4' long and about 20" wide. Set two shop lights over your seed starting area and they should provide enough light for your seedlings. You'll have to hang them in a way that you can move them as your seedlings grow. The lights should be kept 2" above the foliage and moved up as the plants grow. Keep the lights on 14-16 hours a day and turn them off at night. Good luck with your project! |
