I really cut back my forsythia bushes. They are now a bunch of sticks about 48 inches high. Will they grow new shoots and bloom or get leaves?

thanks

Your forsythia should put out new growth this spring and summer. Cutting them back only makes them more vigorous so just be patient and they will recover from their haircuts and come back even stronger. Enjoy!
