The Q&A Archives: boers

Question: how do i get rid of boers in my trees?

Answer: You really can't control the borers that are in your trees other than to poke into each hole with a paperclip. The larvae are well protected in the holes in the tree. Your cooperative extension office may be able to offer other controls but it depends upon the tree species and the type of borer you're dealing with.
