| We live in south florida zone 10 and we are under restricted watering 2 days a week. Our backyard is all weeds and wonder if weed and feed will bring the grass back. My husband resodded some last year but neglected to care for it by pulling weeds as they come up. How do you care for a lawn in this area once you have grass? Thank you |
| Pre emergents can be applied in February before the weeds come up. Once they have sprouted, you will need to use a post emergent product. If you have St. Augustine you can use Vigoro Ultra Turf Weed and Feed. Apply according to label directions and that should take care of the weeds. When you water, water deeply to help the roots of your turf grow deeply and become more drought tolerant. Best wishes with your lawn. |
