The Q&A Archives: Lavender

Question: Do you cut lavender back in the spring. Thank you.

Answer: Lavender should be trimmed back after it blooms and may be trimmed back lightly in the late spring after the new growth has appeared. Trim lightly: never trim it back hard into the old woody sections.
