Last Summer I baught a new house that had some curbing put around the edge of my back yard, and bark inside of the curbing. I have a small dog who spends a lot of time in the back yard and has ruined it i don't know what to do is there anything you can suggest?

When a dog paces or runs along the same area the soil eventually becomes compacted and not much will grow there. So I would suggest using a hardscape such as flagstones or concrete or even river rocks instead of bark or trying to grow lawn or groundcover plants in the area. Wish I had more ideas!
