Some of the best lavenders for your region include Royal Purple ( a gorgeous lavender and a vigorous producer.) Great for use as a hedge plant; New growth produces a striking silver-grey tinge with bright violet blooms. Very fragrant.

Betty?s Blue - introduced by Nichols Garden Nursery in Albany Oregon . A compact, erect plant with straight short spikes. Blooms are dark violet.

Croxton?s Wild - a robust, well-shaped bush with light blue, almost silvery pale blooms with pleasing fragrance.

Fragrant climbers include New Dawn (pale pink), Don Juan (red), and Golden Showers (yellow).

Enjoy your fragrant garden!
