How deep of dirt for a raise garden - Knowledgebase Question

How much compose do i need for a raised garden? Would 6-8 inches be enought for tomatoes,corns, cabbages, kale,peas and artichoke. First time hope something grows.thanks again, Ella

Your raised garden should be at least 18 inches deep - 12 inches deep for small plants such as lettuces and peas, deeper for tomatoes, corn, artichokes, etc.
