You can feed Azaleas and Rhododendrons with a specialized fertilizer formulated for Azaleas and Rhododendrons. Apply in amounts as recommended on the label. Spotted foliage can indicate a disease or can just be an indication the leaves are old and about to fall off the plant. Just prune away the affected foliage and remove fallen leaves from your garden. If the newer leaves develop spots, you can spray your rhodie with a fungicide or with neem oil. Best wishes with your shrubs!
