I have a small pond that is not lined and I am having trouble with crawdads. They are making holes around the pond. And could they cause the pond to leak.

There is really nothing you can use in your pond to keep crawdads out so catching them is your only defense. They are naturally attracted to water so your pond seems like a perfect place to them. I'm afraid you will just have to scoop them out. Wish I had more solutions for you!
