I saw a pink flowering shrub on TV. It was about 3 or 4 feet high and covered with blooms. The show was in California so it may not be one that grows here. It was in the distance so I can tell how big the leaves or flowers were.

If the show was taped in California, the shrub probably won't perform well in Michigan. However, if you're looking for a large shrub with pink flowers, maybe Annabelle hydrangea will work in your landscape. There's a new pink flowering Annabelle that you might like. Or, a deep pink flowering Weigela might work for you. Best wishes with your garden!
