Are there any large hostas like plants that will survive the Las Vegas heat..Would really like big leaves..can't find the

Instead of hosta, you can grow colocasia (elephant ear's) in a shady spot. If the site has sunshine, you can grow dwarf bird of paradise. Elephant ears has big, bold foliage; dwarf bird of paradise has leaves that are about 4 inches across and 8-10 inches long. Either plant will give you a tropical look in the desert heat.
