Grass invading rose bed - Knowledgebase Question

I just planted a rose bush and i cant stop grass from growing around it. Will the grass kill my rosebush?

The grass will compete with your rose bush for moisture and nutrients so I would suggest pulling it out from around the base of the plant. If it is creeping in from an adjacent area, why not put down some metal or plastic border to keep it away from your roses?
