I am new to herb gardening. What is the best way to dry cut herbs like cilantro and basil?

I just air dry mine. Cut or pinch off the leaves and lay them down in single layers on paper towels. Set them in a warm room. I put mine in the laundry room on top of the washer and dryer - of course I have to move them when I do laundry - but they are out of the way and I won't have to worry about them. They only take 2-3 days to dry. When you can crumble them, they are dry enough and you can store them in plastic bags. Enjoy your herbs!
