I have asked a question before. Your answer was very helpful. Boy! Am I glad Home Depot has this site!Thank you!

I have another question. Some of the flowers on the hydrangea blooms are turning brown but I still have several still blooming. Can I cut the dead ones off? Will that hurt the plant?

Glad you find the site so helpful! Pruning off the spent flowers won't hurt your plant. When you prune, take off some of the stem, too, so you don't have a bare stem poking out of the plant. I just cut mine back to where there are a couple of leaves and you can barely see where it's been cut. Enjoy your hydrangeas!
