Answer: I don't think you will need to replace your hydrangeas, but I would suggest pruning them back to help shape them and to encourage lots of new growth. Endless Summer produces flowers on new growth so anything you can do to encourage new growth will ensure they bloom freely for you. Start by pruning everything back by half. Everywhere you prune you will get two new stems and with any luck, they will each produce a flower. You can also feed your shrubs with a bloom booster fertilizer (5-10-10 or 10-20-20).
