What can I plant to replace a large oak tree to provide shade

Colorado State Univeristy recommends the following trees for your area: Acer ginnala (Amur Maple); Catalpa speciosa (Western Catalpa); Celtis occidentalis (Common Hackberry); Fraxinus pennsylvanica (Green Ash). Hope one of these is just right for your landscape.
