What is the best time of year to plant trees in Oklahoma? I'm concerned thatthe hot summers here might be too hard on the new trees. Please help.

Your concerns are justified. Hot weather coupled with the stress of being transplanted can really affect new trees. The best times to plant are spring and fall or anytime in winter when the ground is not frozen. You can plant now, or wait until fall when the weather is cooler. Good luck with your new trees!
