The Q&A Archives: Red Tip Photinia

Question: Are there two different types of red tip photinia's. I have seen some with white flowers on them and some with just the red and green foilage.

Answer: They are the same plant. Those that flower are more mature and receive more sunshine than those that do not flower. Maturity is the key to flowering in photinia.
