Some boxwoods turn a golden color during the winter months but green up again in the spring when the weather warms. Others are not hardy in your growing region and will die over the winter months. Since we don't know which type of boxwood you are growing we can only hope that yours is the hardy type that changes colors in the cold and will green up later this spring!
