I have an area of about 20x3 feet between my porch and sidewalk and live in SC. What are some good shrubs/plants, etc. to put there. I would like as much color as possible and easy to care for.

Some of the most attractive shrubs for your area include Glossy Abelia (Abelia x grandiflora); Heavenly Bamboo (Nandina domestica); Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis); Shore Juniper (Juniperus conferta); Evening Primrose (Oenothera species) along with these perennials: Lily of the Nile (Agapanthus africanus); Cheddar Pinks (Dianthus gratianopolitanus); Hardy Ageratum (Eupatorium coelestinum); Daylily (Hemerocallis) and Bearded Iris. All are drought tolerant and relatively easy care. Enjoy your garden!
