I have a large pond that empties into a wetland area.I have wild water lilies taking over the pond. Is there anyway to control them? I also have beavers damming the culvert that empties into the wetlands. They have the water level too high and the water is going over the back side. Any suggestions? Thanks! |
I'm afraid the best course of action for both problems is seek and destroy. If you can't wade out into the pond, you'll need a boat. Pull up the water lilies roots and all, or rake them out of the muck and remove them from the pond. Beaver dams can be knocked down, especially easy when the dams are small, but more difficult to disassemble if they are allow to get large. Best wishes with your project! |
