I have fruit trees and a vegetable garden, therefore; I don't want to use a chemical on my lawn. Is there a grass seed that I can sow that will choke out the weeds in my back yard? And, is there an organic product that will kill the weeds? Thank you.

A thick, lush lawn will crowd out new weeds but not necessarily kill off existing weeds. If you have more weeds than lawn you may want to kill everything off and start anew. Concern is an organic, non-selective weed and grass killer and is the first natural herbicide to hit the market. The fact sheet says it's made from a blend of fatty acids that are biodegradable and non-toxic to people and pets. It works extremely fast and allows reseeding of the lawn after forty-eight hours. You may want to give it a try.
